Our commitment to building a sustainable environment for everyone.
At PrintWithMe, we believe environmental conservation is both a good business practice and our duty to preserve the earth’s natural resources. While printing companies in the past have contributed to deforestation, our team is committed to building a green future where shared community printing is not only sustainable, but it can actually help promote the growth of new forests and reduce individual electronic waste.
Get in touch with our team for green partnership initiatives or questions. Thank you for helping us keep the world beautiful and green!
PrintWithMe is deeply committed to the following sustainability efforts as part of our Green Policy.
Here's How You Can Help Too:
If you need to throw away papers, recycle whenever you can. You can also recycle your old, unused printers and other electronics by dropping them off at your local Best Buy or Staples.
To reduce your personal paper consumption, be conscious of how much you are printing and print only what you need.
Ask your boss if you can telecommute to work for even one day a week, and work out of a coffee shop instead. This will help you cut down on gas waste and carbon emissions.

100% Sustainable Paper
Free Recycling Resources
Paper used at PrintWithMe print kiosks will only be made from renewable resources and sustainably managed forests. We will source paper from partners who replenish forests and are certified by the Forest Stewardship Council or the Sustainable Forestry Initiative. In 2019, we also will begin offering recycled paper options at select locations.
PrintWithMe will commit to providing free recycling bins to all our partner organizations that do not already have one by our printing kiosk, upon request. Also upon request, our team will provide free recycled staplers for users’ convenience and feature signage that encourages users to recycle paper.
Free Printer Refurbishing Program
Reducing Individual Electronic Waste
For communities that have just one PrintWithMe station nearby, we find that they save up to 550lbs of individual electronic waste and 4750 kW of energy per year. We are committed to promoting a culture of shared community resources, versus individual printer, paper, and toner/ink consumption.
Building a Carbon-Positive Future
Green Office Management
The team at PrintWithMe commits to help offset its carbon emissions and actively participate in volunteer activities that help create a carbon-positive future. This includes planting trees with the Arbor Day Foundation. We also commit to making environmental concerns an integral part of our decision-making process as we grow our business.
At our own offices in Chicago, PrintWithMe commits to being environmentally conscious at all times. This includes using digital communications whenever possible, recycling and reusing waste materials, purchasing recycled office supplies, using low energy light bulbs, turning off unnecessary lights and electronics, and monitoring energy consumption for electricity, gas, and water.
